The school’s focus on Creative Arts means that we are seeking to recruit an inspirational, professional and highly skilled Teacher of Music and A Level Technology. The successful candidate may hold QTS but we will accept applications from suitably qualifies graduates. They will be joining an experienced and well-resourced department where an exceptional range of peripatetic teachers support our extensive music programmes.

In this part time role, you will be expected to teach Music Technology to A Level and additional timetable by negotiation. You would be expected to play a key role in the extra-curricular music programmes that run including outreach within local primary schools and through a music scholarship programme. Westminster City School is a successful 11-18 Christian non-denominational comprehensive academy for boys with a mixed sixth form. Ours is a vibrant learning community situated in the heart of central London with all the opportunities and advantages of an inner-city school. In May 2026, the school’s OFSTED inspection graded the school as being ‘Strong’ in the majority of areas with all grades at the expected level. We remain restless in our ambition to be ‘Exceptional’ in our next inspection and have a clear plan for delivering on this aspiration.
