About the role
Proactive Personnel Ltd are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Programmer for our client based in the Tyseley area.
To be considered for this role, you must be an experienced programmer on Mazak or Haas CNC machines.
An immediate start is available for the successful candidate.
£17.00 – £20.00ph, overtime 1.5 after 40 hours.
Hours of work: 08:00 – 17:00 Monday – Thursday, 08:00 – 13:00 Friday.
Responsibilities
- CNC programming using either Mazak or Haas CNC machines.
- Interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and work orders to determine machining requirements.
- Set up CNC machines by installing tools, fixtures, and workpieces according to specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturing processes and implement new programming techniques.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, materials, and safety protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting machine issues.
