SEND Teaching Assistant
Location: Maltby, Rotherham
Start Date: 1st September
Pay: £95–£110 per day
Contract: Full-time

We are currently looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to work in a small Integrated Resource Unit within a mainstream primary school in Maltby, Rotherham, starting from 1st September.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with children and wants to support pupils with additional needs in a smaller, supportive setting.

The role will include:

• Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis.
• Helping with classroom activities and learning.
• Supporting pupils with their communication, confidence and independence.
• Helping manage behaviour and encourage positive routines.
• Working alongside the class teacher and other support staff.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with children with SEND, although this isn’t essential.
• Is patient, reliable and approachable.
• Can build positive relationships with pupils.
• Is confident working as part of a team.
• Is keen to make a real difference to children’s learning and development.
