About the role
The Management and Governing Body are looking for a Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and Mental Health Lead to join our school, and will take the main responsibility for protecting children and young people at risk from harm, abuse, and neglect within the school . They will act as the primary contact for safety concerns and ensure proper policies are followed. The successful candidate will manage disclosures from pupils, coordinate with outside agencies like social services or the police, and ensure that school and Trust-wide policies protect children from harm.
The successful candidate will bring experience in the field of Safeguarding, ideally within an Educational establishment or similar. For further information, please read the attached Job Description.
