Registered General Nurse – Days & Nights

Radiant Jobs Ltd is recruiting an experienced Registered General Nurse for a high-quality residential nursing environment in London. Working across day and night rotas, you will provide safe, person-centred nursing care, maintain detailed care plans and support residents with changing clinical needs. The role requires sound clinical judgement, strong communication and a consistent commitment to professional nursing standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess residents’ health and social-care needs and update care plans accordingly.
• Administer prescribed medicines safely and maintain accurate records.
• Monitor residents’ wellbeing and arrange appropriate clinical review when required.
• Provide clear clinical handovers between shifts.
• Communicate effectively with residents, relatives and healthcare professionals.
• Supervise and mentor colleagues where appropriate.
• Follow infection prevention, health & safety and emergency procedures.
• Maintain safeguarding responsibilities and adhere to NMC standards.
• Keep professional knowledge and clinical competence up to date.

Essential Requirements

• Current NMC registration with a valid PIN.
• Minimum 12 months’ previous nursing-home experience.
• Strong clinical assessment and care-planning skills.
• Safe medicines-management knowledge.
• Excellent communication and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to work variable rota hours, including evenings and weekends where required.

Qualifications Required

• Registered Nurse qualification with current NMC PIN.

Desirable Requirements

• Experience supporting older people with complex care needs.
• Previous mentoring or supervisory experience.
