Solutions Architect

We are recruiting an accomplished Solutions Architect for a professional permanent opportunity in London. The role sits within Technology, Data & Digital and is aligned to Cloud & Enterprise Technology. This role is suited to a capable professional who can design scalable, secure technology solutions aligned to business needs. Working within Cloud & Enterprise Technology, you will take ownership of architecture, requirements, integration, cloud, security, design governance, technical roadmaps and stakeholder leadership. Key Responsibilities

• Take day-to-day ownership of architecture, requirements, integration, cloud, security, design governance, technical roadmaps and stakeholder leadership.
• Apply sound professional judgement to design scalable, secure technology solutions aligned to business needs.
• Deliver work accurately, efficiently and in line with agreed deadlines and service standards.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues, clients, customers or stakeholders and provide timely updates.
• Maintain complete, accurate and appropriately confidential records and documentation.
• Identify risks, issues or exceptions early and take appropriate action or escalate where necessary.
• Work collaboratively with the wider team and contribute positively to service quality and operational performance.
• Follow all relevant legislation, professional standards, organisational policies and health & safety requirements.
• Look for practical opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, customer experience or outcomes.
• Maintain current knowledge, skills and professional development relevant to the role.

Essential Requirements

• Demonstrable experience working as a Solutions Architect or in a closely related role.
• Practical experience relevant to Cloud & Enterprise Technology.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a professional and service-focused approach.
• Excellent organisation, prioritisation and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, use sound judgement and contribute effectively as part of a team.
• Confidence using the systems, technology and documentation required for the role.
• Good understanding of security, quality and documentation practices.

Qualifications Required

• Relevant cloud/vendor architecture certification and substantial solution design experience desirable.

Desirable Requirements

• Previous experience in a comparable Cloud & Enterprise Technology environment.
• Additional relevant professional training, certification or membership.
• Evidence of continuous professional development and up-to-date sector knowledge.
• Experience improving processes, service standards or team performance.
