Nursery Practitioner

Radiant Jobs Ltd is recruiting a capable Nursery Practitioner for a high-quality permanent opportunity in London. The role sits within Education and is aligned to Early Years. This role is suited to a capable professional who can provide safe, stimulating early-years care and learning. Working within Early Years, you will take ownership of EYFS activities, observations, key-person duties, personal care, safeguarding, parent communication and environment preparation. We are looking for someone who combines strong technical or professional capability with sound judgement, clear communication and a consistently high standard of service. Key Responsibilities

• Take day-to-day ownership of EYFS activities, observations, key-person duties, personal care, safeguarding, parent communication and environment preparation.
• Apply sound professional judgement to provide safe, stimulating early-years care and learning.
• Deliver work accurately, efficiently and in line with agreed deadlines and service standards.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues, clients, customers or stakeholders and provide timely updates.
• Maintain complete, accurate and appropriately confidential records and documentation.
• Identify risks, issues or exceptions early and take appropriate action or escalate where necessary.
• Work collaboratively with the wider team and contribute positively to service quality and operational performance.
• Follow all relevant legislation, professional standards, organisational policies and health & safety requirements.
• Look for practical opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, customer experience or outcomes.
• Maintain current knowledge, skills and professional development relevant to the role.

Essential Requirements

• Demonstrable experience working as a Nursery Practitioner or in a closely related role.
• Practical experience relevant to Early Years.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a professional and service-focused approach.
• Excellent organisation, prioritisation and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, use sound judgement and contribute effectively as part of a team.
• Confidence using the systems, technology and documentation required for the role.
• Strong safeguarding awareness.

Qualifications Required

• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification and Enhanced DBS.

Desirable Requirements

• Previous experience in a comparable Early Years environment.
• Additional relevant professional training, certification or membership.
• Evidence of continuous professional development and up-to-date sector knowledge.
• Experience improving processes, service standards or team performance.
• A proactive, dependable and solutions-focused approach.
