Management Accountant

Radiant Jobs Ltd is recruiting a capable Management Accountant for a high-quality permanent opportunity in London. The role sits within Accounting & Finance and is aligned to Commercial & Industry. This role is suited to a capable professional who can produce timely management accounts, forecasts and performance analysis. Working within Commercial & Industry, you will take ownership of month-end close, budgeting, variance analysis, accruals, prepayments and business partnering. Key Responsibilities

• Take day-to-day ownership of month-end close, budgeting, variance analysis, accruals, prepayments and business partnering.
• Apply sound professional judgement to produce timely management accounts, forecasts and performance analysis.
• Deliver work accurately, efficiently and in line with agreed deadlines and service standards.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues, clients, customers or stakeholders and provide timely updates.
• Maintain complete, accurate and appropriately confidential records and documentation.
• Identify risks, issues or exceptions early and take appropriate action or escalate where necessary.
• Work collaboratively with the wider team and contribute positively to service quality and operational performance.
• Follow all relevant legislation, professional standards, organisational policies and health & safety requirements.
• Look for practical opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, customer experience or outcomes.
• Maintain current knowledge, skills and professional development relevant to the role.

Essential Requirements

• Demonstrable experience working as a Management Accountant or in a closely related role.
• Practical experience relevant to Commercial & Industry.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a professional and service-focused approach.
• Excellent organisation, prioritisation and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, use sound judgement and contribute effectively as part of a team.
• Confidence using the systems, technology and documentation required for the role.
• Understanding of financial controls and confidentiality.

Qualifications Required

• CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualification, or actively studying toward a recognised accountancy qualification.

Desirable Requirements

• Previous experience in a comparable Commercial & Industry environment.
• Additional relevant professional training, certification or membership.
• Evidence of continuous professional development and up-to-date sector knowledge.
