This is a key role at the centre of the service, acting as the first point of contact for professionals, service providers and stakeholders. You will play a vital part in coordinating administrative processes, supporting meetings, managing information and ensuring that systems run efficiently and effectively.

Key responsibilities include:

• Acting as the first point of contact, managing enquiries via phone, email and post in a professional and timely manner
• Providing comprehensive administrative support, including scheduling meetings, preparing papers and taking accurate minutes
• Supporting financial processes, including raising purchase orders, processing payments and maintaining records

• Monitoring shared inboxes and ensuring queries and actions are responded to within required timescales
• Liaising with internal teams and external providers, acting as a key link across the service
• Producing reports and supporting data collection, including statutory returns
• Identifying and escalating issues, helping to improve administrative processes and service delivery

This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic service supporting children, young people and families, while developing your administrative and organisational skills within a supportive team.

The Person

We are looking for a highly organised and customer-focused individual with strong administrative experience and a commitment to delivering high-quality support.

You will:

• Have experience providing business or administrative support in a busy environment
• Be confident working with data, maintaining accurate records and handling sensitive information appropriately
• Have strong IT skills, including the use of Microsoft Office applications and databases
• Demonstrate excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines
• Be an effective communicator, able to work with a wide range of stakeholders including professionals and members of the public
• Have experience supporting meetings, including arranging logistics and taking minutes
• Be proactive in identifying improvements and resolving issues in administrative processes
• Be a strong team player with a flexible and adaptable approach

Above all, you will bring a positive, solution-focused approach and a commitment to supporting effective service delivery for children, young people and families
