Randstad Education is currently recruiting for an enthusiastic SEN Drama & PE Instructor to join an outstanding Special Educational Needs (SEN) school based in Northolt. This full-time, long-term position offers the unique opportunity to deliver interactive creative arts and physical education lessons to students with moderate to severe learning difficulties and complex needs.

Role Overview

  • Deliver Engaging Sessions: Lead dynamic, adapted Drama and Physical Education classes designed to boost confidence, self-expression, and physical well-being.

  • Support Complex Needs: Tailor session plans to accommodate diverse learning styles, sensory requirements, and communication abilities.

  • Classroom Management: Maintain a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment alongside dedicated Teaching Assistants.

  • Track Progress: Build strong relationships with students to help them achieve personal growth and developmental milestones.

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience instructing PE, Drama, or creative movement (experience within an SEN setting is highly desirable).

  • Strong classroom management skills with a patient, adaptable, and empathetic approach.

  • A clear passion for using creative arts and physical activity to engage young people with additional needs.

  • An enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).

  • Right to work in the UK.

Benefits & Pay Structure

  • Initial Daily Rate: £130 per day.

  • AWR Scale Up: Increases to £143 per day after 12 completed weeks under Agency Workers Regulations (AWR).
