Randstad Education is currently recruiting for an enthusiastic SEN Drama & PE Instructor to join an outstanding Special Educational Needs (SEN) school based in Northolt. This full-time, long-term position offers the unique opportunity to deliver interactive creative arts and physical education lessons to students with moderate to severe learning difficulties and complex needs.
Role Overview
Deliver Engaging Sessions: Lead dynamic, adapted Drama and Physical Education classes designed to boost confidence, self-expression, and physical well-being.
Support Complex Needs: Tailor session plans to accommodate diverse learning styles, sensory requirements, and communication abilities.
Classroom Management: Maintain a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment alongside dedicated Teaching Assistants.
Track Progress: Build strong relationships with students to help them achieve personal growth and developmental milestones.
Candidate Requirements
Experience instructing PE, Drama, or creative movement (experience within an SEN setting is highly desirable).
Strong classroom management skills with a patient, adaptable, and empathetic approach.
A clear passion for using creative arts and physical activity to engage young people with additional needs.
An enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
Right to work in the UK.
Benefits & Pay Structure
Initial Daily Rate: £130 per day.
AWR Scale Up: Increases to £143 per day after 12 completed weeks under Agency Workers Regulations (AWR).
Long-Term Stability: A consistent, full-time role within a supportive school environment.
