About the role

Are you a seasoned professional looking to lead high-impact infrastructure projects? We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Package Manager to join our client's team. This is a critical role that requires a proactive leader capable of managing complex construction initiatives from inception to completion. Given the strategic importance of this project, we are aiming to expedite the selection process and identify a qualified candidate immediately.

Role Overview
  • Position: Lead Package Manager (Infrastructure/Construction)
  • Duration: ASAP until 31/01/2027
  • Compensation: £87.50 per hour (umbrella inside IR35)
  • Schedule: 42.5 hours per week, with availability for weekends and nights as required by project milestones.
  • Location: West London
Responsibilities

As the Lead Package Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact for project delivery. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing comprehensive oversight of infrastructure and construction projects, ensuring adherence to strict safety and quality standards.
  • Developing detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets to meet organizational objectives.
  • Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Identifying and mitigating project risks and resolving operational bottlenecks effectively.
  • Managing resource allocation and logistical scheduling for day, night, and weekend operations.
  • Ensuring full compliance with regulatory frameworks and industry best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Package Manager within the infrastructure or large-scale construction sector.
  • Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to manage high-pressure environments and tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
  • Technical proficiency in project management software and construction methodologies.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are highly desirable.
