Step In, Make Your Mark, and Bring Stability to Alyth
Burnside Court is looking for a proactive, dependable Night Support Worker to take ownership of our overnight care. Supporting just 5 residents with learning disabilities, autism, and ADHD, this is a rare chance to step into a service that genuinely needs a steady hand.
Our residents generally sleep very well, meaning your night shifts are structured, calm, and predictable. You'll keep the service safe, tackle essential overnight tasks, and be a reassuring presence whenever a resident needs support.
What You'll Be Doing
- Keep Things Running Smoothly: Maintain a secure, clean, and welcoming environment while the service sleeps.
- Deliver Attentive Care: Be ready to step in with calm, compassionate support if a resident wakes or needs assistance.
- Team Up: Work alongside an on-site sleepover team member for extra support whenever you need it.
- Take Initiative: Complete light housekeeping and administrative logs efficiently during quiet hours.
What You Bring to the Table
- Solid Care Experience: Hands-on experience in support work is essential (learning disability or autism experience is a huge bonus).
- Night Shift Focus: You thrive on overnight hours, stay sharp, and take pride in working independently.
- Rock-Solid Reliability: Ready to commit to the Monday-Thursday schedule consistently.
- Location Ready: Able to reliably commute to Alyth.
