Support Worker - Supported Living & Community Outings

Location: Livingston

Shifts: Full flexibility (Earlies, Lates, Waking Nights, Sleepovers)

Onboarding: Fast-track hiring with full induction provided

Pay: £18 p/h

Are you energetic, outgoing, and passionate about empowering others? We are seeking proactive Support Workers to join a dedicated team in Livingston supporting older adults and a young adult with mild learning disabilities, autism, and backgrounds of trauma.

In this rewarding role, you will help service users live fulfilling, independent lives within a supported-living setting-focusing on emotional well-being, community inclusion, and everyday fun.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Community Engagement: Accompany service users on outings, local social events, and regular trips to the local pub.
  • Trauma-Informed Care: Provide compassionate, individualised support sensitive to past trauma.
  • Empowerment: Assist with daily living routines while encouraging autonomy and active lifestyles.

What We Need

  • Experience: Prior support experience working with learning disabilities or autism.
  • Certifications: Valid, up-to-date Moving & Handling and Medication certificates.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of trauma-informed care (desirable).
  • Bonus Skills: Epilepsy or rescue medication training is a distinct advantage.
