Requirements

• 6-12 months previous paid social care experience essential
• Registered with NI Social Care Council (NISCC)
• Valid UK Driving licence and Car Business Insurance essential
• Fully up-to-date immunisations including Measles, Mumps, and Rubella
• Ability to prioritise and manage a varied caseload
• Ability to build rapport and communicate with parents, young people, and social care professionals
• Candidates will be subject to enhanced vetting including an Enhanced Access NI check due to the nature of this work, this may include a Barred List check for both Children & Vulnerable Adults (depending on the role)

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver practical family support plans, advising parents on routines, behaviour, and budgeting.
• Arrange and supervise family contact sessions, managing transport and required paperwork.
• Gather family information to directly contribute to social work care assessments.
• Coordinate local community resources, respite, and family support services.
• Maintain clear records and immediately report any child protection or risk concerns.
