About the role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Planner/Administrator to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will coordinate production schedules, manage supply chain activities, and ensure seamless communication across departments. Your expertise will help optimize manufacturing processes, improve efficiency, and uphold high standards of quality control. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to process improvement initiatives and support continuous operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed production schedules using ERP to align with customer demands and inventory levels.
  • Liaise with customers to ensure needs are understood and met.
  • Collaborate closely with supply chain teams to monitor inventory levels, order materials, and coordinate deliveries to meet production timelines.
  • Utilise mechanical knowledge to understand assembly processes and identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
  • Support quality control procedures by ensuring that production activities adhere to quality standards and specifications.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives by analysing workflow data, identifying bottlenecks, and suggesting process enhancements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of production activities, including work orders, process adjustments, and inventory movements.
  • Oversee logistics/carriers to ensure prompt delivery.

Experience

  • Proven experience in production planning or manufacturing administration within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong familiarity with ERP systems used for supply chain management and production scheduling.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage supply chain logistics effectively, ensuring timely procurement and delivery of materials.

Full time hours Monday to Friday.
