Andover, Hampshire New Chapter Tuition Ltd Area Manager – Alternative Provision Location: South Region | Multi-Site Salary: £40,000–£50,000 Contract: Permanent | Full Time | Term Time Only Start: September 2026 Company Vehicle: Provided New Chapter Tuition is recruiting exclusively on behalf of a large and rapidly growing specialist Alternative Provision for an experienced Area Manager to oversee approximately 7–10 sites across the South Region. The client is looking for a forward-thinking, proactive and hands-on leader who can anticipate challenges rather than simply react to them. This is a visible operational role, working directly with teams while also improving policies, procedures and systems. Key Responsibilities * Lead and support teams across 7–10 Alternative Provision sites. * Drive standards across educational delivery, safeguarding and operations. * Conduct lesson observations and monitor learner outcomes. * Support staff performance, development and accountability. * Develop and embed effective policies, procedures and systems. * Build strong relationships with schools, Local Authorities, families and multi-disciplinary teams. * Manage your own diary, travel and changing operational priorities. Previous education experience is essential, including educational delivery and working with schools, Local Authorities and/or education professionals. QTS is not required, and management experience may come from education or another fast-paced sector. You'll need excellent leadership, communication and time-management skills, with the confidence to take ownership and balance strategic improvements with day-to-day operational leadership. This position is fully on-site with regular regional travel. Driving between sites forms part of working hours; however, flexibility is required, including occasional work outside standard hours and overnight stays where necessary.
