About the role

What will you be doing?

We have an exciting opportunity to join an amazing team who have a passion to making a difference to the lives of young people.

We are looking for someone to join the Community Learning and Skills Team as a Future Pathways tutor to deliver to 16-18 year olds (up to 25 with an EHCP) in Gravesend and other venues across Kent as and when required (to be discussed at interview).

In addition to those listed in the job description the following experience and skills are required:

  • Experience of successfully teaching young people.
  • Demonstrate an awareness of current and proposed changes to DFE funding rules and their implications for KT&A’s curriculum offer.
  • This is a fixed term part time position (22.5 hours per week) to provide maternity cover.

You will design, plan and manage the programme to meet financial and enrolment/engagement targets, and ensure the programme offer is balanced and meets learner needs in terms of breadth and mode of delivery and that it supports learner aspirations.

You will be expected to work throughout the county in order to meet service needs.
