    Are you eager to develop your project management skills while making a real impact across a large and dynamic organisation? Liverpool City Council is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Finance Project Officer to join the Finance and Resources Directorate and support the delivery of its ambitious goals.

    This is an exciting opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience supporting a range of projects from inception through to completion. You will work alongside experienced colleagues, helping to deliver strategic initiatives that improve services, drive innovation and provide value for money for residents.

    The role:

    • The role of Apprentice Finance Project Officer will support project delivery and maintain all project management documentation.
    • You will support the effective management of and operationof governance boards and project meetings.
    • In the role of Apprentice Finance Project Officer you will produce correspondence, reports and other documents for programmes and projects.
    • You will establish and maintain effective file management systems.
    • You will also support best practice through research and providing detailed advise and guidance.
    • In the role of Apprentice Finance Project Officer you will exercise independent judgement and initiative. 

    This role is fixed term for the purpose of completing the Associate Project Manager Level 4 Apprenticeship and will end 24 months after you star with us.
