Bench Hand Joiner

Our client based in Halifax are recruiting for experienced Bench Hand Joiners to join their existing team. The successful candidate MUST have their own tools.

Shifts & salary:

• Full time role
• 08:00-16:30
• Monday to Friday
• Paying £15.00-£17.00 depending on experience
• Temporary to permanent opportunity

Key responsibilities:

• Manufacture joinery work based on secured work orders.
• Understand production schedules and technical/construction/assembly drawings.
• Knowledge of raw materials, including properties and applications.
• Accurately measure and cut raw materials to minimise wastage.
• Competently use woodworking machinery and hand-held power tools.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and company guidelines.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships.
• Represent the department effectively and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Undertake additional duties as required by management.
• Produce work that meets company quality standards.
• Receive instructions from Line Manager and Senior Management.
• Be willing to work additional hours as needed to meet work order demands.

Key requirements:

• Must have bench hand joinery experience
• Must have own tools
• Must be able to understand production schedules and technical drawings
• Must be experienced in producing high end products using a variety of wood, experience with metal also preferable
