Production Operative

We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join a busy manufacturing company on a temporary to permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a hard-working and reliable candidate who is looking for long-term work, with the potential to progress within the factory. For the right person, this role could become permanent, with opportunities to move into machine operation and possibly shift work in the future.

Shift/salary & benefits:

• £12.71 per hour
• Monday to Friday day shifts 08:00-16:00
• Temporary to permanent opportunity

The role:

• Packing printed paper products accurately and efficiently
• Working on packing tables throughout the day
• Preparing leaflets, flyers, point-of-sale and advertising materials for dispatch
• Quality checking products to ensure high standards are maintained
• Keeping the work area clean, tidy and safe
• Working as part of a team to meet production targets
• Following instructions from supervisors and team leaders
• Supporting other areas of the factory when required

The candidate:

• Be able to work Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
• Be flexible to work extra hours during the week and weekends when required
• Have good English reading, writing and communication skills
• Have previous packing or production experience
• Be comfortable working on packing tables for the full shift
• Be a good team player
• Be hard-working, reliable and conscientious
• Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
