Morson Talent is recruiting experienced Slingers/Riggers to work on behalf of BAE Systems at their world-renowned shipyard in Barrow-in-Furness, supporting the prestigious Dreadnought and Astute submarine programmes.
12-month contract with a strong chance of extension
Immediate starts available (subject to security clearance)
What we’re looking for:
Marine or heavy industry experience
Rigging/Slinging experience
A strong commitment to safety and quality
What you’ll be doing:
- Lifting and slinging loads safely
- Working in confined spaces
- Providing temporary protection solutions
- Supporting production activities across the site
- Preparing equipment, materials and consumables
- Assisting with plant and equipment maintenance
- General cleaning and housekeeping to company standards
Pay Rates (PAYE) Currently only demand for locals within 39 miles from site
3 On / 4 Off
- Local: £21.08 per hour
Nights
- Local: £23.37 per hour
Umbrella rates are also available.
Full rate card available on request.
