About the role
Skilled Groundworkers Required - Stoke-on-Trent
We are currently seeking 2 Skilled Groundworkers for a civil engineering project in Stoke-on-Trent (ST1), with an immediate start available.
Positions Available
- 1 x Skilled Groundworker with CPCS/NPORS Forward Tipping Dumper Ticket
- 1 x Skilled Groundworker with Confined Space Certification
Please note, these are hands-on groundworker roles and operatives will not be working solely on plant. Candidates must be experienced in all aspects of civil groundwork.
Duties Include
- Drainage installation
- Excavation and trenching works
- Ducting, kerbing, and concreting
- Loading and unloading materials
- General groundworks and civil engineering tasks
- Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment
- Working from RAMS and site permits
- Attending site briefings and toolbox talks
- Reporting hazards and near misses
Requirements
- Valid CSCS Card
- Proven experience in civil engineering and groundworks
- For the Dumper role: Valid CPCS/NPORS Forward Tipping Dumper Ticket
- For the Confined Space role: Valid Confined Space Certification
- Confined Space operative must be experienced with pointing up shafts and using a trowel
- Strong understanding of site health and safety procedures

- SSSTS or SMSTS
- NRSWA
- Environmental Awareness Training
