West Kirby Primary School is seeking to appoint a permanent part-time Assistant Caretaker to support the Site Manager and Cleaning Team in their daily duties, which will include cleaning, general maintenance and school security.

There may also be times when communication and liaising with contractors is needed if they are on site when the Site Manager isn't.

We are looking for a candidate who is enthusiastic, conscientious, proactive and self-motivated, who would like a key role in maintaining and developing our school, to ensure a welcoming, safe and clean environment for the whole school community.

This is an all year round working contract, and the hours of work during term time are Monday - Friday (3:00pm - 5:45pm). Some flexibility of the working pattern will be available during the school holidays.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Business Manager, the Site Manager and The Cleaning Team.

They will be responsible for the final cleaning of the day and safely locking the premises up each evening.
