Summary We’re looking for an experienced Piping Quality Engineer to join a leading project at Hinkley Point C. This permanent position is ideal for candidates with strong piping experience gained in highly regulated industries such as power generation or oil and gas. Location and Working PatternLocation: Hinkley Point C, SomersetWorking Pattern: Fully on-site, Monday to FridayClient Overview Our client plays a key role in delivering engineering excellence for major energy and infrastructure projects across the UK. They are committed to the highest safety, quality, and environmental standards, contributing to long-term sustainable energy solutions. ResponsibilitiesMonitor and enforce quality standards related to piping systems on siteOversee material and weld traceability to meet project specificationsConduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with client and regulatory requirementsLiaise with project teams and subcontractors to resolve quality issues promptlyReview quality documentation, test packs and ensure accurate record-keepingAssist in preparing and updating quality-related reportsSupport root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actionsMust-have RequirementsProven experience in piping engineering and quality assurance/controlBackground in major projects within regulated industries (e.g., nuclear, oil & gas, power generation)Strong understanding of welding and materials standards relevant to piping systemsAble to interpret engineering drawings and specificationsExcellent attention to detail and strong communication skillsFull right to work in the UK – sponsorship not availableNice-to-have SkillsFamiliarity with nuclear site regulations and codesKnowledge of ISO quality management systemsExperience with quality database toolsApply NowIf you’re ready to bring your expertise to an exciting project and join a team committed to engineering excellence, apply today and one of our consultants will be in touch.            The NRL Group connect global companies with the right people to bring engineering projects to life.
