Catering Manager opportunity in Brockenhurst, offering £40,000 pro rata to Term Time Only and a 12-week temp-to-perm route.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take the lead on the catering operation at a busy college, overseeing around 800 covers per day across hot meals and grab & go options. With Monday-Friday working and 8am-4pm shifts, this role offers a great balance between career development and lifestyle, and is commutable from Bournemouth and Southampton.

Key Responsibilities:

As Catering Manager, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day catering operation, ensuring a high-quality service for students and staff.

• Oversee a busy catering operation serving around 800 covers per day
• Manage a varied food offering including hot meals and grab & go options
• Lead and support the Front of House team
• Work closely with the Head Chef to ensure a smooth service
• Maintain high standards of service, food quality and presentation

What we’re looking for:

You’ll have previous catering or hospitality management experience, alongside the right qualifications and approach to working within an education environment.

• Previous catering or hospitality experience
• Experience managing or supervising a Front of House team
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• A current Enhanced DBS Certificate
• A hands-on, customer-focused approach
