Primary Support Practitioner – North Tyneside

Milk Education is working with a welcoming primary school in North Tyneside to recruit a dedicated Primary Support Practitioner for a full-time role starting in September 2026.

The successful candidate will provide practical and learning support throughout the school day, helping pupils feel confident, included and ready to learn.

Key Responsibilities

• Support pupils during classroom activities and independent work
• Provide additional support to individuals and small groups
• Reinforce learning delivered by the class teacher
• Assist pupils who may require additional encouragement or guidance
• Support classroom routines and positive behaviour
• Help prepare resources and learning activities
• Promote pupil independence and participation

The Ideal Candidate

• Experience working with children in an educational, childcare or support setting
• A caring, patient and approachable personality
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Flexible and confident working with different age groups
• A genuine interest in children’s learning and development
