FLT Driver

£15.25 per hour | 2 Shift Rotation | Temp to Perm Opportunity

Jackson Hogg are recruiting for an experienced FLT Driver to join a growing manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous forklift experience within a warehouse or production environment looking for long-term work with a clear path to permanent employment.

Following a paid induction on dayshift, you will move straight onto a 2-shift rotation, attracting an enhanced hourly rate of £15.25 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating forklift trucks safely and efficiently within a manufacturing environment
• Loading and unloading goods
• Moving, storing and issuing materials to production teams
• Ensuring materials are delivered to the correct locations
• Supporting assembly and production departments with material handling
• Maintaining accurate stock movements and inventory records
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures

Requirements

• Valid FLT licence
• Previous experience operating forklifts within a warehouse, logistics or manufacturing environment
• Strong awareness of health and safety regulations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Experience using inventory or warehouse management systems is desirable but not essential

Hours of Work

Initial Induction

Dayshift

• Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
• Friday: 8:00am - 12:30pm

2 Shift Rotation (20% Shift Premium)

Week 1 (Early Shift)

• Monday to Thursday: 6:00am - 2:30pm
• Friday: 6:00am - 12:30pm

Week 2 (Back Shift)

• Monday to Thursday: 2:30pm - 11:00pm
• Friday: 12:30pm - 7:00pm

Average 38.5 hours per week.

Pay & Benefits

Temporary Workers

• £15.25 per hour on shift pattern

  • 1.5x Monday to Saturday
  • 2x Sunday
