A lovely family are looking for a Proxy Parent Nanny to care for 3 boys while the parents are away. This is a sole charge role for boys aged 12, 10 and 8 years old. A driver is required and a work car can be supplied while on duty. The family would like a candidate that is happy to engage with the boys and play with them, due to it being 3 boys a nanny that can enjoy joining in with their sporty games too.

** There is an option to have time away during the day (Nanny) or you can complete household tasks and if happy to do so, there is a family dog to walk and care for (the dog does not need to be there if the candidate is uncomfortable around dogs).**

Duties

School runs (morning and afternoon’s)

Feeding the boys

Ensuring they are up, ready and taken to school in the morning and then collected in the afternoons and cared for/fed.

Some Nursery duties

Weekend duties will including entertaining the children.

Children’s laundry and tidying up after them.

If the nanny is happy to work during the weekday school hours then housekeeping duties will be required.

Hours and Days

Wednesday to Sunday  (hours to be confirmed but likely to be full days).

Start Date

23rd September until 27th September 2026

Salary

TBC – this will depend if the candidate is working split shift/full days and may be daily rate or hourly.

Pet friendly as there is a dog in the family home – the dog can stay with family if the nanny is uncomfortable around dogs.

As with all Mums the Word placements our candidates should have a minimum of 2 years experience working with children, an Enhanced DBS, paediatric first aid certificates and at least 2 contactable references.
