Permanent Housekeeper Nanny required in East Grinstead. R1914

A lovely family with two girls aged 2.5 and 5.5 years old are looking for a Housekeeper with some childcare involved in the role. This can be daily or live in with some flexibility on hours, this is predominately housekeeping with sole charge and shared care childcare during the day.

Duties

Full housekeeping

No laundry

Cooking a couple of meals each week

Some childcare

Occasional school drop offs and pick ups.

Hours and Days

These hours are negotiable but potentially 7 to 9am and then 2 to 7pm daily although the client is happy to consider mainly afternoons if preferred and they can offer between 30 to 35 hours per week.

This is Monday to Friday with occasional , evening or weekend work (overtime) and additional hours can be offered in the school holidays.

Start Date

December 2026/January 2027

Salary

£20 to £22 per hour gross

Additional Information

Pet friendly as there is a cat in the family home.

Permanent position

Additional hours can be offered and there is some flexibility on hours.

Driver required – using own car and for all mileage with the role will be paid at 0.55p per mile (not commuting to and from work)

If live in (this can be part time if preferred) the accommodation is a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom.

As with all Mums the Word placements our candidates should have a minimum of 2 years experience working with children, an Enhanced DBS, paediatric first aid certificates and at least 2 contactable references.
