(Private) Family Solicitor | NQ- 4 PQE

Location: West Midlands
Working Pattern: Hybrid- typically 1/2 days per week in the office

A well-established legal services organisation is looking to recruit a Family Law Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer to join its growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an NQ or experienced Family Lawyer looking for a varied caseload, a supportive working environment and genuine flexibility, with just one/ two days per week required in the office.

The Role

You will manage a varied caseload of privately funded family matters, taking responsibility for your files from initial instruction through to conclusion.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a varied caseload of private family matters
• Advising clients across a range of family law issues
• Handling matrimonial finance matters
• Conducting negotiations and working towards positive outcomes for clients
• Drafting legal documents, correspondence and other relevant paperwork
• Maintaining accurate case records and ensuring all deadlines are met
• Working towards individual and team performance targets
• Providing a high standard of client care throughout each matter
• Working collaboratively with colleagues and contributing to a supportive team environment

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• Qualified as a Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer (NQ – 4PQE)
• Experience handling privately funded family law matters
• Strong experience in matrimonial finance
• Experience working towards billing, chargeable time or performance targets
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Strong organisation and attention to detail
• Good IT skills and experience using case management systems
• A client-focused and collaborative approach
