Reinsurance Actuary - BPA & Longevity

Oliver James are exclusively representing a leading UK insurer on a Reinsurance Actuary opportunity within its growing BPA team.
This is a transaction-focused role for a Qualified Actuary with longevity pricing experience who wants exposure to the full reinsurance lifecycle - from analysis and pricing through to structuring, negotiation and execution.
The Opportunity
You'll work across a broad range of BPA reinsurance activity, including:


Pension Risk Transfer (PRT)


Longevity swaps


Funded reinsurance


Back-book transactions


Longevity pricing and experience analysis


The role is technically focused, with a commercial element. You'll work directly with reinsurers and alongside senior stakeholders, gaining exposure to live transactions.
What We're Looking For


Qualified Actuary with up to 5 years PQE


Strong longevity pricing experience


Strong technical and analytical capability


Experience with cashflow modelling and large datasets


BPA/PRT or wider reinsurance exposure is highly relevant


Programming or coding experience is a useful additional skill.
