Acorn by Synergie is recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 (Cat C) Driver for a full-time temp to perm position with a well-established national business based in Newton Abbot.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Class 2 Driver looking for consistent work, early starts and competitive pay, with the potential to secure a permanent position.

You'll be making multi-drop deliveries across the South West as part of a professional driving team, with a minimum of eight hours' pay guaranteed per shift.

• £17 PAYE / £20 Umbrella PAYE Monday to Friday.
• £19 PAYE / £23 Umbrella PAYE Saturdays.
• Minimum 8 hours' pay guaranteed per shift.
• Monday to Friday, 5am starts.
• Tuesday to Saturday working pattern available.
• Immediate starts available.

• Complete approximately 8-12 multi-drop deliveries per day across the South West.
• Safely drive and operate a Class 2 (Cat C) vehicle.
• Complete deliveries accurately, safely and on time.
• Provide a professional and customer-focused service at delivery locations.
• Follow all road transport legislation and company procedures.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks.
• Report any vehicle defects or maintenance issues promptly.
• Complete required delivery paperwork and documentation.

• Full UK driving licence with Class 2 (Cat C) entitlement.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous multi-drop delivery experience is preferred.
• Good knowledge of road transport regulations.
• Reliable and flexible approach to work.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a busy delivery schedule.
