Financial Accountant

Bishop's Stortford, UK Pure Resourcing Solutions Limited A long‑established and respected manufacturing organisation is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join its Finance team on a part-time basis. The business has a strong operational reputation and continues to invest in its people, systems and infrastructure. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this hands‑on role plays a key part in delivering accurate financial information, maintaining strong internal controls, and supporting high‑quality reporting. Key Responsibilities include: Prepare, review & maintain reconciliations for all balance sheet entities Identify and recommend corrective actions for unsupported or inaccurate balance sheet balances. Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities. Assist in analysing balance sheet movements and identifying unusual variances. Support the preparation, review and distribution of weekly operational and financial performance reports. Support preparation of the monthly Management Pack including variance analysis. Analyse operational and financial metrics, highlighting key trends, risks, opportunities and performance variances.  The successful candidate will have the ability to manipulate data and produce accurate reports. Experience using Oracle, or a comparable ERP system is advantageous, in addition to Excel. This fixed term contract position will provide a 9 – 12 duration, with the potential to evolve into a permanent position.  You are required to work 3 days a week, working from home is available and flexibility on workings days are open for consideration. The full-time equivalent salary range is £40,000 - £44,000, this will be paid on a pro rata basis.
