Specialty Trainee - Anaesthetics - Daisy Hill Hospital
Locum Specialty Trainee (ST3+) in Anaesthetics required at Daisy Hill Hospital, Newry, part of the Southern Health and Social Care Trust. This is a month-long assignment covering September 2026 at an assignment rate of £50/hr.
The Department of Anaesthetics at Daisy Hill Hospital requires ST3+ level cover for a range of evening, overnight, and weekend shifts throughout September 2026. The role involves providing anaesthetic services across the hospital including on-call cover, pre-operative assessments, and theatre lists. Shifts include evening twilight sessions (17:30-20:30), overnight on-call (20:00-08:30), and full weekend day cover (08:00-20:30).
Candidates must hold GMC registration with a licence to practise at ST3+ level in Anaesthetics, have the right to work in the UK, up-to-date DBS/AccessNI clearance, and professional indemnity insurance. Experience in providing independent anaesthetic cover including obstetric and emergency anaesthesia is essential.
