Role: Teaching Assistant

Salary: £95-£105 per day (Depending on experience and/or qualifications)
Contract: Temporary – Long term Supply

About the role
We are seeking to appoint a committed, enthusiastic, and caring Teaching Assistant to join our Year 3 classroom. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and dedicated to making a positive and lasting difference to children’s learning, progress, and confidence.

Working closely with the class teacher, you will play an important role in supporting high-quality teaching and learning across the curriculum. You will provide targeted support to individual pupils and small groups, helping children to develop their knowledge, skills, and independence.

A key focus of the role will be supporting pupils in Maths and Phonics, helping to strengthen core skills, address gaps in learning, and build confidence. The successful candidate will be nurturing, patient, and proactive, with a genuine commitment to helping every child achieve their full potential.

Requirements
Salary is dependent on experience, qualifications and training. All successful applicants will:
– Experience in working with children in a school or specialist setting
– A nurturing, patient and consistent approach
– Have referenceable experience working in a school setting.
– Be passionate about education, with a desire to help young people thrive.
– Be an excellent communicator with a positive, can-do attitude.
– Ideally hold a full, clean driving licence and have access to vehicle.
