š Support Worker (*Female), London, TW2. Ā£18.00 gross per hour / Ā£33,696.00 + gross oer annum.Ā Ā A fantastic opportunity to support Emily, 24, an intelligent and sociable young woman with a spinal cord injury, who enjoys a busy and independent lifestyle.
Key Information
Ā· Job Title: Support Worker
· Pay: £18.00 gross per hour / £33,696.00 gross per annum
Ā· Location: London, TW2
Ā· Start Date: ASAP
Ā· Hours and Days of Work: 3 to 4 12-hour shifts: 08:00 AM to 08:00 PM or 08:00 PM to 08:00 AM. Rota created one month in advance. Every other weekend off.
Ā· Essential Experience: Experience of working with people with physical disabilities, providing personal care and manual handling, using hoists. Within a 30 to 40 minute commute of family. Happy to travel with the client. Non-smoker/vaper, *Female only.
Ā· Desirable: Tracheostomy care, suctioning, cough assist, ventilation, bowel care.
Ā· Driver Required: Yes. Automatic adapted vehicle to use on shift.

Emily, 24, is positive, intelligent and enjoys church, socialising, shopping, travelling, cinema, cooking and baking. She has a spinal cord injury, tracheostomy and requires ventilation 24/7. The Support Worker will provide personal care, manual handling and complex care while helping Emily maintain her independence and continue enjoying her busy social life. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable, capable Support Worker who enjoys varied days, works well within a team and is happy to travel abroad for up to three weeks at a time. Experience with complex care equipment is desirable, with training available.
