HGV Class 1 Driver – Walking Floor

Kenect are hiring HGV Class 1 drivers for their prestigious client based in the Widnes area. This work is temp to perm so you will be on agency for 12 weeks before going to work directly for the client with a permanent contract. NEW PASSES ACCEPTED!

As a HGV Class 1 driver, you will be responsible for driving a class 1 vehicle with a walking floor. Experience isn’t necessary as you will have both a driving assessment and receive training. You will be required to do a drug and alcohol test prior to starting.

The role:

• Temp to perm positions available
• Day and night shifts available
• Runs available between Monday and Sunday
• Start time on days is 0400/0600
• Paid weekly at £17ph PAYE with holodays accrued
• Immediate starts available
• Wood deliveries locally, 3-4 drops per day

Requirements:

• Full UK driving license with Cat CE
• No more than 6 points on your licence – no DG/DR endorsements due to insurance purposes
• A valid CPC and tacho card
• Hi vis and safety boots
