Delivery Manager - UKIC DV

Our client, a leading organisation in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking a Delivery Manager to join their team in Cheltenham. This is a contract position with an end date of 31/03/2027, requiring full-time on-site commitment. Candidates must hold current UKIC DV clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Coordination: Assisting in setting up and managing multiple workstreams, ensuring tasks are clearly defined and dependencies are tracked.
• Timeline Management: Monitoring project timelines, flagging risks early, and helping teams stay on schedule through proactive follow-ups.
• Progress Tracking: Maintaining accurate status reports and dashboards, highlighting milestones, blockers, and resource needs.
• Stakeholder Communication: Supporting the Service Delivery Manager in preparing concise updates for leadership and stakeholders.
• Issue Resolution: Acting as a point of contact for operational challenges, helping to remove blockers and escalate issues promptly.
• Resource Support: Working with the SDM to help allocate team resources effectively across workstreams, balancing priorities and capacity.
• Process Alignment: Ensuring delivery activities align with agreed organisational objectives.
• Hands-On Support: Engaging directly with teams to clarify tasks, resolve day-to-day queries, and maintain momentum on deliverables.

Job Requirements:

• Experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of government (HS working experience)
• Understanding of technology and networks (desirable)
• UKIC DV clearance
