We are looking for a Yard Operative to join our client’s team. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role involving the unloading, sorting, moving and storage of materials. On a temporary on-going contract.

We are looking for a Yard Operative to join our client’s team. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role involving the unloading, sorting, moving and storage of materials. On a temporary on-going contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Remove plastic storage bags from containers.
- Empty and safely secure contents in designated storage areas.
- Move materials into recycling and compactor skips.
- Sort and store parts in the relevant bins and storage areas.
- Load and unload containers.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and site briefings.
- Report any accidents, incidents and near misses to the relevant personnel.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
About You
- Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving heavy loads.
- Comfortable working outdoors and undertaking manual work.
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- Able to follow instructions and health and safety procedures.
- Good team-working skills.
- Forklift licence is desirable but not essential.
- Full training and site induction provided
