Receptionist:

Receptionist – Immediate Start (Monday 24th August)
Location: Nottinghamshire, onsite
Contract: Temporary cover – 24/08/2026 to 08/09/2026
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:00
Rate: £13 per hour

We’re recruiting a professional Receptionist on a temporary basis to cover a period of holiday. You will provide front-of-house cover at a busy head office. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role, ideal for someone confident on the phone and welcoming visitors with a calm, polished approach.

Key responsibilities

• Welcoming visitors, managing sign-in and issuing visitor passes
• Answering, screening and directing calls; taking accurate messages
• Handling incoming/outgoing post, franked mail and special postal requests
• General admin support, including printing/posting internal documents
• Booking meeting rooms and scheduling pool/hire cars
• Maintaining a tidy reception area and completing site access records

What you’ll need

• Strong written and verbal English
• Previous reception/admin experience with a customer-service mindset
• Confident IT skills (Microsoft Office) and good keyboard accuracy
• Excellent organisation, attention to detail and discretion/confidentiality
• Reliable, able to work independently and stay calm under pressure
