Pertemps Isle of Wight are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Warehouse FLT & Van Driver to join their team in Newport.

This is a temporary-to-permanent position offering a stable Monday to Friday working pattern, with the opportunity for a permanent position for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating FLT equipment safely and efficiently
  
  
• Loading and unloading deliveries
  
  
• Carrying out general warehouse duties
  
  
• Preparing and handling goods for delivery
  
  
• Driving a company van for local deliveries and collections
  
  
• Ensuring goods are handled and transported safely
  
  
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
  
  

The Ideal Candidate

• Must hold relevant and in-date FLT tickets
  
  
• Must hold a full, clean UK driving licence
  
  
• Previous warehouse and van driving experience is essential
  
  
• Good knowledge of safe working practices
  
  
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
  
  
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
