Provide Education are currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to join a secondary school in Rotherham from September.

Situated close to the Sheffield/Rotherham border, the school is easily accessible from both areas and benefits from strong transport connections, making it a convenient option for candidates travelling from either Sheffield or Rotherham.

Full-Time Teaching Assistant
This is a full-time opportunity, working 5 days per week, supporting pupils throughout the secondary age range.
The successful candidate will work alongside classroom teachers to provide additional support where needed, helping pupils stay engaged with their learning and overcome any barriers they may face. There may also be opportunities to work closely with pupils who have SEND or additional learning requirements.
You will become an important part of the school’s wider support team, building positive relationships with students and helping create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have previous experience working with children or young people
• Ideally have worked within a secondary school or similar educational setting
• Be confident supporting pupils both individually and within the classroom
• Have a calm, patient and encouraging manner
• Be able to establish positive relationships with students
• Understand the importance of safeguarding and maintaining professional boundaries
• Be adaptable and comfortable working alongside different teaching staff
• Have experience supporting SEND pupils (advantageous, but not essential)
• Be dependable and committed to the full-time position

Position Details
Location: Rotherham, close to Sheffield border
Start: September
Hours: Full time – 5 days per week
Pay: £100–£130 per day, depending on experience
