Provide Education are currently recruiting for an experienced and confident Cover Supervisor to join a secondary school in North Sheffield from September.

The school is well positioned for candidates travelling from Sheffield, Rotherham and Barnsley, with good transport links making it an accessible location for those commuting from the surrounding areas.
Full-Time Cover SupervisorThis is a full-time position, working 5 days per week, providing an excellent opportunity for someone looking to secure consistent work within a secondary school for the new academic year.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will take responsibility for supervising classes in the absence of their usual teacher, delivering pre-prepared work and ensuring pupils remain focused and engaged. You will work across a range of subjects and year groups, making this a varied role for someone who enjoys working with young people.
The successful candidate will be confident managing classroom behaviour, able to establish authority quickly and comfortable working independently while following school policies and procedures.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience working with young people, ideally within a secondary school
• Has experience as a Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, Learning Mentor or in a similar role
• Is confident managing a classroom and maintaining positive behaviour
• Can build strong professional relationships with pupils
• Is adaptable and comfortable covering different subjects
• Can follow lesson plans and instructions effectively
• Is reliable, organised and able to commit to 5 days per week
• Has a calm but confident approach to behaviour management

Location: North Sheffield
Start Date: September
Position: 1 Cover Supervisor
Hours: Full time – 5 days per week
Pay: £110–£150 per day DOE
Transport: Good transport links from Sheffield, Rotherham and Barnsley
