About the role
Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Location: Crowle
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £120–£135 per day, dependent on experience and qualifications
Provide Education are currently working with a lovely primary school in Crowle who are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced HLTA to join their team on a full-time basis.
This is a varied role, with the position being heavily based within Early Years, while also providing support across other year groups throughout the school. The role would suit an HLTA who enjoys working with younger children but is confident adapting their approach across different ages and abilities.
The school has a welcoming and supportive atmosphere, with a strong focus on creating an inclusive environment where all pupils can make progress. There are a range of learning needs across the school, including SEND, so the ability to provide patient, individualised support is important.

HLTA Role Requirements:
- HLTA status or equivalent experience supporting teaching and learning
- Previous experience working within a primary school setting
- Strong understanding of the primary curriculum across EYFS, KS1, and/or KS2
- Experience delivering interventions and supporting pupil progress
- Ability to lead whole-class learning in the teacher’s absence
- Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
- A patient, proactive, and supportive approach
- Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff, support teams, and parents/carers
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
The Successful HLTA Will:
- Deliver planned lessons and learning activities to whole classes when required
- Support teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
- Lead targeted intervention groups to accelerate pupil progress
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with varying needs
- Assist teachers with planning, preparation, assessment, and monitoring pupil progress
- Promote positive behaviour and support pupils’ social and emotional development
- Help create an inclusive, engaging, and supportive learning environment
- Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, SENCOs, and senior leaders
