School Caretaker – Sheffield

Full-Time | Temp to Perm

We’re looking for a reliable and hands-on School Caretaker to join a school in Sheffield.

This is a great opportunity for someone with previous caretaking, maintenance, facilities or trades experience who enjoys a varied role and takes pride in keeping a site safe and well maintained.

The role will include:

• Opening and securing the school site
• Carrying out basic repairs and general maintenance
• Completing regular site and health & safety checks
• Supporting with deliveries and moving equipment
• Keeping external areas clean, tidy and safe
• Reporting larger maintenance issues
• Supporting contractors visiting the school

Previous school experience would be beneficial but isn’t essential. Candidates from maintenance, facilities, construction or similar hands-on backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is required, or you must be willing to apply for one.
