School Caretaker

Caretaker – Rotherham School

Full-Time | Temp to Perm

Provide Education is recruiting for a Caretaker to support a school in Rotherham.

We’re looking for someone practical, dependable and comfortable taking responsibility for the day-to-day upkeep and security of a busy school site.

Your duties could include:

• General repairs and maintenance around the school
• Opening and locking the premises
• Carrying out site inspections and safety checks
• Basic plumbing, decorating and DIY tasks
• Managing deliveries and site access
• Liaising with contractors and external suppliers
• Ensuring the school grounds remain safe and presentable

You don’t necessarily need previous school experience. We’re interested in people with strong transferable experience from caretaking, facilities, maintenance, construction, trades or property management.
You will need an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
