Fire Alarm Installation Engineers

Job Title: Fire Alarm Installation Engineer (x4)
Location: Peterborough
Length: 2 weeks (starting week commencing 24th August)
Rate: £200 per day

Are you a Fire Alarm Installation Engineer based in or able to travel to Peterborough looking for your next contract opportunity? As a Fire Alarm Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation of fire alarm systems across commercial and residential sites, carrying out both 1st and 2nd fix works to a high standard. You will be joining an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality fire and security solutions to its customers.

Responsibilities:

* Carry out 1st and 2nd fix installation of fire alarm systems in line with project specifications and drawings.
* Install cabling, detection devices, call points, sounders and control panels to manufacturer and site requirements.
* Work with open protocol fire alarm systems across a variety of site environments.
* Ensure all installation work is completed safely, on time, and to the required standard.
* Liaise with site supervisors and other trades to coordinate works and maintain progress.
* Adhere to health and safety requirements and site rules at all times.

Experience and Certifications required:

* Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Installation Engineer, including both 1st and 2nd fix works.
* Demonstrable experience working with open protocol fire alarm systems.
* Ability to read and work from installation drawings and technical specifications.
* Valid ECS or CSCS card — essential.
* Full UK driving licence.
* FIA qualification (desirable).
