Access Control Installation Engineer

Job Title: Access Control Installation Engineer
Location: Mayfair
Length: Long-term project, starting week commencing 24th August
Rate: £200 per day

Are you an Access Control Installation Engineer based in or around Mayfair looking for your next contract opportunity? As an Access Control Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation of access control systems across commercial and high-end residential sites, carrying out first and second fix works to a high standard. You will be joining an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality fire and security solutions to its customers.

Responsibilities:

* Carry out first fix installation works including cable containment, cable pulling and device positioning.
* Complete second fix installation of access control hardware including readers, controllers and door furniture.
* Install and terminate Mercury Access Control systems in line with project specifications.
* Work closely with site managers and other trades to ensure installations are completed on programme.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with site health and safety requirements.

Experience and Certifications required:

* Minimum 2 years' experience in access control installation within the fire and security industry.
* Proven hands-on experience with Mercury Access Control systems.
* Competent in first and second fix installation techniques including cable containment and termination.
* Full UK driving licence preferred.
* ECS or CSCS card (required).
* FIA Fire Industry Competency Card (desirable).
