Home Care Support Worker

About Us We are a growing, family-oriented home care agency providing compassionate personal care and companionship services to elderly clients, people with disabilities, and those recovering from illness or surgery. We are currently looking for kind, reliable and patient individuals to join our care team.

Main Responsibilities

• Assistance with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting)
• Helping with mobility and transfers (using a hoist if trained)
• Meal preparation, feeding assistance & hydration monitoring
• Medication reminders (no administration unless a qualified nurse)
• Light household tasks (tidying, laundry, changing bed linen)
• Companionship, conversation and emotional support
• Taking clients to medical appointments/walks / family visits (when required)
• Observing and reporting any changes in the client’s health or well-being
• Maintaining accurate daily care notes

We have two main client groups – you will usually work with one category:

1. Elderly clients (mostly 70+ years)
2. Younger adults with physical disabilities or long-term conditions

Requirements Essential:

• Kind, patient and genuinely caring nature
• Good communication skills (able to speak clearly in Urdu & preferably some English)
• Physically able to assist with moving/transferring (with training provided)
• Reliable, punctual and responsible
• Own smartphone with WhatsApp (for shift communication & care notes)
• Willing to travel within a ~25 km radius of your home
• Minimum age 22 years

Highly desirable (but training can be provided):

• Previous care experience (family care experience also considered)
• Valid CNIC
• Own motorbike/scooter + valid driving licence (big advantage – extra pay for field work)
• Basic first aid knowledge
• Female candidates preferred for female clients (but male carers also needed)

Shift patterns available

• Morning (7:00 am – 2:00 pm)
• Afternoon/Evening (2:00 pm – 8:00 pm)
• Long day (8:00 am – 6:00 pm)
• Night duty (8–10 hours or sleepover/live-in)
• Alternate weekends only / 2–3 days per week (part-time)
