Contract Type: Temp to Perm

Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 per annum (£673–£769 per week)

Hours: 06:30am – 4pm, Monday to Friday

Are you an experienced Mechanical and Electrical Fitter looking for a new challenge supporting vital UK MOD projects? Join our multi-disciplinary maintenance team based in Swindon, delivering technical expertise on cutting-edge equipment for water treatment and deployment systems.

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills within a supportive, fast-paced environment. We offer a temp to perm contract, regular working hours, and opportunities for travel across the UK and overseas.

Your role will include:

·       Providing mechanical and electrical support for water, hydraulic, and fuel systems

·       Reading and fault-finding using wiring diagrams and schematics

·       Maintaining and inspecting packaged water treatment equipment

·       Managing junior technicians and reporting on equipment condition

·       Demonstrating safe chemical handling practices

What we need from you:

·       NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical or Multi-Skilled Engineering

·       Proven experience with pumps, compressors, generators and hydraulic systems

·       Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation

·       Competent in Microsoft Office

·       Willingness to travel UK-wide and occasionally overseas
